Terms of use
Last updated 2026-10-12
AnyEdit is free to use. The editors are provided as they are, so keep a backup of anything important.
Using the site
You may use AnyEdit for personal and commercial work. Do not use it to break the law or to infringe other people's rights. You keep all rights to your files.
No warranty
The editors are open-source software provided as is, without warranties of any kind. They can have bugs. Editors run in your browser and do not autosave, so work can be lost if a tab closes or a file fails to save. Always keep the original file and save copies often. We are not liable for lost or damaged files or for loss resulting from use of the site, to the extent the law allows.
Compatibility information
Compatibility notes on this site describe what we tested on the date shown, in the browser shown. Your files, browser and device may behave differently.
Independence and trademarks
AnyEdit is an independent site. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by ArtCraft, Adobe, Microsoft, Autodesk, Avid, or the authors of the open-source engines it runs. All product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
Open-source software
The editors are licensed under MIT or Apache-2.0 by their authors. See Credits and licenses.
